Earlier this month, we took a field trip with school to the Tiny Tots program at a local high school. It is kind of a horrible event - the band plays some nice Disney music while high schoolers dressed up in bad Disney princess costumes run up and down the aisles. The kids LOVE it. Well, Avery does - Donovan didn't care much for it. I wasn't really surprised. He hates Chuck E. Cheese, and this is basically like a bunch of Chuck E's running around loose.
Before the program, he wasn't sure what to expect and was excited for it to start. (I guess he didn't remember it from last year.)

Program started - this is how he spent most of it. I'm not gonna lie - I loved the snuggle baby, it hardly ever happens anymore!
It made me a little sad that this was Avery's last Christmas field trip with the school, and even sadder that she wanted to sit with her friends instead of me.
This is Avery's friend Joseph. He has been in every class with her since she was 3. They are great friends. She will miss the wonderful friends she has made at this school!
