Field trip to the pumpkin patch

Today was the annual school field trip to the pumpkin patch. It is one of our favorite days of the year.
The kids woke up and got themselves dressed. They were so excited to be twins today. Donovan kept saying "Same shirts!" to everyone he saw wearing it.

Pumpkin here:
Pumpkin there:
Pumpkins everywhere:
This is Avery's kindergarten class:
Avery loved the rope swing. I could not push her high enough, though. She's a bit of a thrill seeker.

Dono driving one of the trucks:

We took the wagon ride twice, once with each of their classes:

It had some scary Halloween elements, and Donovan told me "he no like it." However, when it was time for his class to go, he was excited to go again.

Riding the ponies:

Going down the little slides:

And the big ones. These are the big kind you ride a carpet down. I went to the top with Donovan, and he pushed me away and said "by self, Mama!" So he went by himself.
He didn't mind going with Avery though:

And my least favorite part - the gigantic dirt pile where kids dig for toys. It is the dirtiest dirt I have ever seen, and the kids love it.

We are sad we didn't hang out more. And you are right, it really is the dirtiest dirt. Great pictures!

You're kids are so stinkin' cute! That pumpkin patch looks like a ton of fun. I'd like to try that slide out myself!
