Avery loved every minute of it.
Waiting for the water to come out. I don't know if this is ever a good idea..... Although, I have to say, I wish I was this comfortable in my swimming suit!
On a sad note, the park we went to today is in North Arlington, not far from where Scott and I lived during his internship back in the Fall of 1999. We lived in the attic of an 89 year old man, Darron Smith, who rented out his unfinished attic to us for $200/month. When we talked to him over the phone, I thought we were renting an attic apartment, but it was an unfinished attic in a 60 year old home. Scott couldn't even stand up in most of the attic. Still, we have great memories from that fall, and the cheap rent allowed us to be able to save a bunch of money that semester. Well today, on the way home, I decided to drive by and show the kids where we used to live. As we drove past the old house, I was shocked to see that it was GONE!!! It is a very old neighborhood, and a lot of the houses have been torn down in the past few years to build new ones. 1721 North Taylor Street is no longer the site of the little old house we lived in with our 89 year old roommate, it is now a big, beautiful, new house. It made me a little sad!
